We amongst you we are just like you. Just remember that most of us are a paycheck away from being homeless!

About us

Voices for Homeless is a platform dedicated to uncovering the truth behind homelessness and advocating for the rights of the marginalized. Our goal is to raise awareness and spark action to address the systemic issues that perpetuate homelessness in the 208.

We are letting this be known in efforts to expose just how our civil rights are continuously being violated against and how society is being misled into thinking the process is a simple one.

"Most of Idaho's families, are just 1-2 paychecks away from being homeless."

The handpicking and choosing, of who is granted placement and who does not, has to be stopped.

This is discrimination at its finest! It is unfair and criminalizes the less fortunate. This infringes on our civil rights. Who are we to turn to? Where do we go for REAL help? Who is there to protect our rights?

The sad truth is no one. We know firsthand. We've had fought this fight for way too long. A war that one should never have to fight.

However, if we unify, we become stronger. Our voices become louder. The people in office will eventually hear us. We are in great hopes that by using our voices, we will be able to find a real solution to end Idaho's homelessness.

We are wanting to unify with other families that have felt this type of discrimination, members throughout our communities, our farmers, our local mom & pop stores, all businesses large and small. Anyone and very one so that this injustice stops.

We are demanding answers.

"Where are all the funds going? Why is that family more important than this family or that family?"

Please unite with us as we stand up to do what is right. Bringing to light the ugly truths and politics behind of Idaho's Housing system.

We know its broken, so, help us fix it!

"Everyone deserves to be loved, just as everyone deserves to have a safe place to call home."

One person's voice can make a difference. Now, is the time to allow yours to be heard.

Our son's childhood can never be restored...

My wife's mental state could have stabilized sooner....

We would not have had to endure such horrific hardships; one's that no family should ever have to go through.

Our current housing system discriminates against most of us. It's hard enough having to break down and ask for help, why make it so much harder than it has to be?

By unifying together, our voices will be heard. One voice can make a difference. Someone sooner or later will hear us. The housing entities claim to be on our side helping us.

We say, let's help one another.

We hope to inspire change and call upon those in positions of authority to aid us in securing justice, with the aim of altering the trajectory for the chronically homeless in our home state.
