Intermountain fair housing

One prominent individual who is a strong advocate for fair housing is Zoe Ann Olson. She is the Executive Director of the Intermountain Fair Housing Council in Idaho. With extensive experience in Idaho's housing laws and a deep commitment to promoting equal housing opportunities, Zoe Ann Olson has become a leading voice against housing discrimination. Her dedication and expertise have made her a significant figure in the fair housing movement.

We were told that we had a case back in 2020. We were told that it sounded like we were being discriminated against on 4 different levels. We were excited, there is some one that will help us. We jumped threw her hoops turned in her paper work.

We then get a call saying the case worker on a Sunday. She states " I'm moving so I'm closing your case".

We wonder if she knows the actual truths about Idaho's chronically homeless families, the ones who are overlooked, don't make the quota, or who have fallen between the cracks.

A home is a family's foundation. It is where you are meant to feel safe. It is where you laugh together, cry together, it's where life is brought home for the first time. A home is where a family creates beautiful long-lasting memories. So, what do you do if you have no home? Without a home first, families are not only going to bed hungry, but they are also being left out in the gruely weather conditions. If they are lucky, they are able to use a vehicle as shelter. We are all homeless family's especially the ones with disabilities and children under 18.

How it mentally effects children. All of those years of sleeping in a car. Having to worry if their parents are okay or not. Children should never have to live with this type of mental anguish.
